Radon is a radioactive gas produced as a by product of the decay of uranium or thorium. Due to its radioactivity and tendency to become airborne, it is of serious concern to families everywhere. Traces of radon have been found in every part of North America so don’t think it is an unusual or uncommon occurrence. Or that this area of the country is unsafe to live in. The good news is that in most cases where radon is present in the home, it can be reduced by typically inexpensive means. I encourage you to watch the one minute video below.
